Assignment Description

We are looking for an OTA Operations Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of over-the-air (OTA) assignments across a growing vehicle fleet. This role involves working closely with technical and operational teams to ensure smooth deployments and effective follow-up. You’ll support ongoing improvement efforts by using data to monitor progress, identify issues, and drive optimization.

In this role, you will be the point of contact for internal teams regarding OTA progress and software rollout planning. Responsibilities also include monitoring deployment performance using tools such as Power BI, validating new OTA features, reporting system issues to engineering teams, and producing insights, statistics, and reports related to OTA and vehicle data updates. Collaboration, initiative, and clear communication are key in this fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Full professional proficiency in both Swedish and English, written and verbal
• Hands-on experience with tools for visualizing and presenting data, such as Power BI
• At least three years’ experience overseeing and coordinating complex technical tasks, ideally within a vehicle-focused environment
• Confident communicator, comfortable collaborating across departments and disciplines
• Genuine interest in vehicle technology and a proactive approach to learning about OTA systems
• Ability to interpret and act on operational data to support efficient rollout of OTA updates

It is considered an advantage if you have experience with automotive diagnostics and the ability to troubleshoot vehicle systems. Familiarity with common diagnostic tools and methods, as well as a general understanding of software deployment workflows within connected vehicles, is beneficial. An analytical mindset and the ability to work with large datasets to create actionable dashboards and reports are highly valued. Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices, such as secure communication protocols and encryption, is also appreciated.
