Assignment Description

We are seeking an Android/Embedded developer with deep knowledge of the Android platform, particularly at the system and lower levels. The role requires on-site presence four days per week.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C and modern C++ (preferably C++20), combined with solid experience in low-level system programming
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Android kernels, hardware abstraction layers (HALs), and device drivers
• In-depth familiarity with AOSP and development of customized Android platforms
• Thorough understanding of Android’s internal architecture, spanning from the kernel layer to the framework
• Insight into Android’s security structure and methods for reinforcing embedded systems
• Experience in power optimization, system tuning, and performance profiling
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is considered a merit if you have practical experience with the Android NDK/SDK and the application layer in Java/Kotlin, although it is not mandatory
