Assignment description

We are looking for a T-shaped Senior Lead IT Consultant with deep expertise in BizTalk and modern microservices (Java and/or .NET) and broad knowledge of various technologies.

The successful candidate will lead a significant migration project, specifically working with insurance, funds, and pensions. You will ensure the current BizTalk system remains operational until decommissioned and will develop, guide and lead architectural and technical decisions alongside the client’s team of architects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the transition from BizTalk to modern microservices, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations
• Maintain the operational effectiveness of the current BizTalk system until it’s decommissioned
• Collaborate with other architects to define and implement optimal architectural solutions
• Guide technical decisions related to system design, security, and scalability
• Act as a subject matter expert in BizTalk and modern microservices (Java and/or .NET), providing technical guidance and expertise to the team
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles during the migration project
• Regularly report on project status, risks, and proposed solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Proven T-shaped skills with deep expertise in BizTalk and modern microservices (Java and/or .NET) and broad understanding of a variety of technologies
• Extensive experience in fintech sector, specifically with insurance, funds, and pensions
• Proven experience leading large-scale system migration projects
• Strong understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
