Assignment Description
We are seeking a technically skilled and innovative Software Tools Engineer to drive the adoption and integration of AI-powered development tools, including both cloud-based solutions and locally hosted language models. The position combines a strong focus on secure software engineering with the opportunities presented by emerging AI technologies. This is a primarily on-site role, requiring presence at the office four days per week.
The role involves evaluating legal, data protection, and intellectual property considerations in collaboration with legal advisors. You will be responsible for monitoring developments in the field of AI tools and identifying relevant trends, technologies, and frameworks applicable to modern software workflows. A key part of the work will include integrating AI tools into our CI/CD environment and developing support utilities that promote secure and productive use of such tools. You will also gather and share insights into effective prompting strategies and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to raise awareness and understanding of AI-assisted development among engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with local LLMs and integrating AI APIs or platforms
- Strong interest in AI tooling, agents, and prompt design
- Familiarity with automation and CI/CD infrastructure
- Good understanding of data protection and IP challenges related to AI
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities
- Proven experience in software development
