Assignment Description

We are seeking a backend developer to build services supporting in-store assistance, order flows, and core operations. You’ll use Domain-Driven Design and event-sourced architecture to create scalable, cloud-native systems with full traceability. Collaboration with frontend and integration teams is key to delivering smooth, end-to-end customer journeys. REST APIs are at the core, and aligning API contracts and domain models across teams is part of the role.

The stack is centered on C# with .NET 9+, following patterns like Domain-Driven Design, Event-Driven Architecture, and Event Sourcing. Services are exposed through RESTful APIs with hypermedia and event publishing, while observability is handled using OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and distributed tracing.

The role requires on-site presence.

Required Qualifications:

• Solid experience designing and building modern APIs using ASP.NET Core, with a focus on performance
• Strong grasp of cloud-native environments and hands-on experience deploying and managing services in them
• Skilled in creating maintainable, well-structured code that reflects real business processes and rules
• Deep knowledge of how to design robust, scalable distributed systems
• Committed to an API-first mindset, ensuring clear contracts and long-term reliability from the ground up

It is considered a merit if you have experience working with event-driven or event-sourced systems in practice, as well as familiarity with sales-related domains or transactional retail platforms.
