Assignment description

We are looking for a Project Manager.

You will become a part of our client’s Research and Development (R&D) team, which is responsible for leading and managing projects related to the development of new products, services, and solutions — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The role involves planning, execution, monitoring, and control of projects, as well as stakeholder management, risk management, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Developing project plans, defining project scope, setting timelines, allocating resources, and managing project activities.
• Identifying and engaging with stakeholders, communicating project status, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.
• Identifying potential risks, assessing their impact, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Leading and motivating project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring effective communication.
• Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.
• Ensuring that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
• Managing changes to project scope, schedule, or budget, and ensuring that changes are properly assessed and implemented.
• Providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them to enhance project delivery.

Qualifications:

• You have a degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• You have demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within the automotive or related industry.
• You have leadership skills, the ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflict, and influence stakeholders.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• You have experience with agile project management methodologies is often beneficial.
• You are fluent in both English and Swedish.
