Assignment description

We are looking for a senior AX Developer to act as an in-house consultant for approximately 6 months (including summer holidays). You will work on-site full-time in Ishøj, collaborating closely with the client’s internal AX specialist. The role is hands-on and requires a very senior profile with deep technical knowledge in AX2012.

Key responsibilities include:

• Development and support across various projects requiring AX2012 changes.
• Contributing to requirement gathering and specification writing in collaboration with IT and business users.
• Supporting functional processes in sales, inventory, purchasing, and logistics.
• Preparing for future ERP transition to D365, including knowledge transfer and supporting the phase-out process of AX.
• Handling operational support tasks such as change requests, issue resolution, release planning and QA, thorough testing, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• You have deep knowledge of AX development and AOT.
• You have a strong understanding of AX metadata structure (Tables, EDTs, Maps, Views, Queries, etc.).
• You have experience with AX integration options.
• You have knowledge of the Retail application, especially POS.
• You have general application knowledge in Supply Chain (e.g., replenishment, warehousing).
• You have general application knowledge in Finance.
