Assignment Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to take ownership of the IT workstream within an intranet implementation initiative for an automotive-related organizational transition. The intranet solution will utilize Microsoft O365 SharePoint as the user-facing platform and will rely on its standard search functionality. The published content will consist of both newly created material and migrated information.

The main responsibilities of the assignment include managing the project from an IT perspective and ensuring consistency with the broader IT ecosystem. This involves reviewing and adjusting IT requirements in areas such as infrastructure, security, compliance, and system integration. You will be expected to define governance and ownership models for IT, evaluate the implications of bypassing standard search tools, and contribute with subject matter expertise on search functionality. The role also includes overseeing the content migration in partnership with third-party vendors, guiding the development of the intranet framework, planning the long-term support structure, and facilitating IT training sessions for end users.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience leading IT projects, particularly those involving intranet or SharePoint implementations.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, compliance, integration, and security principles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft O365 SharePoint and its core features.
• Background in collaborating with external service providers.
• Proven ability to translate business demands into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

It is considered meritorious if you have knowledge of search technologies and their deployment in enterprise-level environments.
