We are looking for a Mechanical engineer/project manager!

In this role, you will work on a portfolio of torque arms and accessories that plays an important role in the success and sustainability of industrial assembly. The client’s range of ergonomic products increase productivity and improve the working situation for a very large number of operators around the world every day.

You will work on design updates as well as development projects from early ideas to serial production. In close interaction with the Marketing department and customers, you primarily work with product development projects. In this role, you work cross-functionally with almost all functions in the organization – marketing, quality, other R&D disciplines, production sites, industry customers, and of course your team colleagues. You take active part in research and technology innovation initiatives within the line organization, ensuring human-centric solutions that are resilient, effective, sustainable and scalable.

Mission:

• Do mechanical design in CAD.
• Drive the project according to defined processes.
• Define and align scope, time plan and budget.
• Follow up and report status on deliverables, time plan and budget
• Collaborate in the company with development engineers, purchasers and production engineers.

Qualifications:

• A master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• More than 5 years experience from mechanical design and product development
• Experience of multidisciplinary project management with industry more that 2 years
• Good communication skills and a genuine interest in leadership are important.
• Fluency in English

Meritous:

• Experience from prototyping and testing.• Knowledge about production techniques
• Support factories and suppliers.
• Experience from working globally with product development.
• Previously working with modularized products for a global market.

The role includes travelling to colleagues and customers worldwide, about 10-14 days per year.
