Assignment Description
We are looking for a Software Asset Manager responsible for ensuring compliant and efficient use of software assets across the organization. The role includes ownership and continuous improvement of software asset management processes, maintaining policies and guidelines, and ensuring license compliance. You will manage outsourced SAM operations and the SAM tool, including lifecycle management, budgeting, second-line support, and reporting. The position also involves supporting software procurement, overseeing licensing audits, optimizing licensing costs, encouraging the use of open-source software, and collaborating with stakeholders across business, sourcing, legal, service delivery, outsourcing partners, security, and software vendors.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Software Asset Manager
- Good understanding of software and hardware licensing
- Strong analytical skills and a holistic understanding of IT
- Knowledge of IT governance and control frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, economics, or a similar field
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Snow, ITIL, or project management) are an advantage
