Assignment Description

We are seeking a skilled Back-end Azure Application Developer to lead the design and development of a scalable Azure-based application. The role involves building reliable solutions that support key digital operations and collaborating in an agile, fast-paced environment. The assignment requires working on-site at least two to three days per week.

In this role, you will design and implement Azure-based applications with a focus on scalability and reliability. You will adapt and enhance existing code to meet business requirements, develop Azure Functions integrated with Cosmos DB, and build and manage JSON API endpoints for efficient data exchange. The position also includes implementing communication with external services through SOAP/XML protocols, collaborating within an Agile framework to ensure effective delivery, and using GitHub for version control and team coordination. Additionally, you will apply modern DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, to streamline and optimize the development process.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately six to eight years of professional experience in a similar technical field.
• Skilled in modifying and improving existing software solutions.
• Good grasp of integrating and maintaining systems that use SOAP/XML communication.
• Solid background in developing applications on the Azure platform.
• Understanding of DevOps principles, including automation and infrastructure as code.
• Experienced in Agile ways of working and comfortable using GitHub for collaboration.
• Strong analytical thinking combined with clear and effective communication.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and working with JSON-based APIs.
