Assignment description 

As a part of our client’s team, you get access to long term development opportunities in a dynamic and continuously growing field, where you have a strong direct influence on customer satisfaction. The team has many function development opportunities which can be developed through advanced engineering and research projects.

In their daily work, they work in an agile team with 7 – 9 members with different roles and responsibilities. They own their functions from the very beginning, from concept phase until the end of the production.

The tyre monitoring team focus on tyre monitoring technologies such as TPMS (Tyre pressure monitoring system) and other Advanced Engineering related functions. They are a relatively small team; thus, every team member makes a difference, and you can see your contribution on the end product. They also work in close collaboration with other teams and suppliers to make sure that the tyre monitoring technologies are implemented according to their requirements.

You will work with tyre monitoring technologies, and you will have the opportunity to contribute in the design, software development, implementation, test activities regarding new functionalities in close cooperation with other team members. You can provide new ideas to continuously improve the product and product portfolio.

Main tasks:

• Break down high level Functional requirements to lower-level Functional requirements
• Define System and SW requirements, and tests to verify these requirements
• Cascade Functional requirement to system requirement to their system developer
• Drive Functional and Architecture development
• System design and SW integration
• Develop working procedures related to tyre monitoring system development
• Propose and develop new functionalities related to Tire Monitoring

Responsibility:

• Manage requirements to fulfil UN Regulation No. 156
• Based on Functional requirement cascade system requirement to their system developer
• Drive system functional and architecture development
• System design and SW integration

Deliveries:

• Functional requirements, System requirements, SW requirements, test case development and specifications
• Functional and Architecture future technology
• Software integration

Competence Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master´s Degree in Software development or equivalent technical knowledge/experience
• Minimum 3 Year’s of experience from automotive product development
• Good knowledge of automotive manufacturing process
• Ability and experience to lead cross functional tasks
• Analytical ability
• Communication skills
• Experience of Elektra
• Experience of SystemWeaver and/or CarWeaver
