Assignment description

We are looking for a Category Buyer for machined parts to support a global sourcing organization.

The role focuses on optimizing supplier performance within quality, delivery, cost, sustainability and technology. You work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvements and strategic sourcing initiatives.

You will develop and execute the category strategy, analyze sourcing data, build and maintain a competitive supplier base and drive supplier performance through reviews and negotiations. The role also includes managing contracts, securing long-term capacity, mitigating supply risks and supporting engineering changes and supplier transitions.
