Assignment description
We are looking for a Fullstack engineer with good DevOps skills (CI/CD, Terraform, GCP) to help build our client’s new modern solution which will increase the Customer satisfaction and make a customer returns flow easier for their many customers and co-workers. They are building a self-service solution while breaking down dependency with an old legacy system. In order to achieve their goal they will collaborate with many other teams.
They practice DevOps principles. Customer Returns teams is a mature engineering team with high psychological safety and well-being factor. They are 10 developers (junior, mid and seniors, employees and consultants). Diversity and inclusion are important to them. Everyone’s voice is heard. They have open communication, help each other and practice pair-programming when needed.
We are looking for a self-going fullstack engineer. You have to be open-minded, ready to get your hands dirty, take responsibility and show ”can-do” attitude. They continuously want to increase their skills in the team so it’s important to see knowledge sharing as a natural part of your daily work. They are constantly looking for improvements of their efficiency and productivity, so they expect you to be active, share your ideas and suggest improvement where you see it. They also work closely with other teams within their subdomain and aim to streamline their CI/CD principles. Therefore good communication skills are required.
You will be working both with maintenance of the current solutions (self-service and customer support returns), supporting their different markets, but also with the development of the new solutions. There is plenty of learning opportunities and technology challenges.
Requirements:
- Fullstack software engineer with 4-7 years experience, driven and can work independently
- Node.js
- JavaScript (React)
- Typscript
- Cloud technologies, preferably GCP
- Experience working with containers and containerised environments (Docker)
- IaC (Terraform)
- OAS (openAPI Specification)
- Golang
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills along with ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
- Experience with some testing tools/libraries like Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
Knowledge within Phyton and UI accessibility is meritorious but not a must.
