Assignment Description
We are seeking a Combustion System Calibration Engineer to develop and optimize combustion calibration to meet performance, fuel-efficiency and emission targets.
The role involves selecting engine hardware, calibrating engine functions and contributing to advanced control strategies for upcoming legislation. You will work in an agile setting with close collaboration across software and design teams. Typical work includes engine lab testing, virtual testing, simulation, data analysis and vehicle verification in varying climate conditions. You will follow your calibration from early concept through test cell work to final validation. The role suits someone with solid combustion experience, a positive approach, strong teamwork skills and a drive to improve work methods.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong command of English, both verbal and written
- A Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent technical competence
- At least three years specifically focused on engine calibration
- At least five years of professional experience working with combustion engine development
