Assignment Description

We are seeking a License Compliance Manager to oversee and control software licensing across the IT environment. The assignment involves managing software assets throughout their lifecycle, with emphasis on complex license setups involving several stakeholders. The role supports the organization by identifying and addressing compliance gaps, thereby limiting legal and financial exposure.

The assignment includes performing both proactive and ad hoc license reviews, analyzing usage data to identify optimization and cost-efficiency opportunities, and ensuring that licensing obligations are met. Close cooperation with software vendors and internal IT functions is required to handle renewals and resolve compliance-related issues. The role also involves maintaining relevant guidelines, producing clear management reporting, and supporting internal awareness of licensing requirements through guidance and knowledge sharing. Collaboration with infrastructure, application, security, and other cross-functional teams is an essential part of the assignment.

Required Qualifications:

• Full professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• At least ten years of professional experience within software asset control, licensing governance, or similar functions
• Strong sense of precision and quality in documentation and compliance follow-up
• University degree within IT, computer-related disciplines, business, or an equivalent area
• Self-driven approach with the ability to operate effectively across organizational boundaries
• Demonstrated capability to assess usage information and handle complex license terms
• Solid understanding of licensing structures, contractual obligations, and recognized industry standards
• Well-developed communication skills with experience working with suppliers and internal counterparts
• Background in performing license reviews and addressing compliance-related risks
