Assignment Description

We are seeking a Digital Service Manager with end-to-end responsibility for global network services within the Automotive business. The role is critical in an ongoing build-up phase where a network service is transitioned from a project setup into stable operations through a clearly defined handover process.

You will have full lifecycle ownership of WAN, LAN, LAN Firewall and DDI within a standardized network platform delivered by external suppliers. The assignment focuses on ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and performance, supported by daily operational oversight and active involvement in major incidents.A central part of the role is supplier governance. You will act as contract owner, ensure compliance with agreed service levels, manage financial commitments, and follow up on root causes. Together with architects and relevant stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvements to strengthen operational stability and optimize cost.

The position requires close collaboration with users, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, including network architects, security functions, and service management teams. You will work alongside other service owners to ensure consistent and resilient service delivery. The role is hands-on and results-oriented, without direct personnel responsibility. Overall, you are expected to take full accountability for the service, establish and mature operational processes, manage risks in cooperation with security stakeholders, and ensure the service evolves in line with business needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Structured and persistent working approach with focus on standards compliance, supplier performance, and cost control
• Strong ability to communicate and manage stakeholders, translating technical matters into clear, audience-appropriate language
• Relevant university degree or equivalent education in IT, networking, or a similar technical area
• Experience working in fast-paced settings with close collaboration across cross-functional teams
• Senior experience in network connectivity roles, preferably in large, global environments with outsourced service delivery
• Proven track record of defining, implementing, and operating processes for newly established services
