Assignment description:

We are looking for a CAE Engineer to work with crash simulations and support design and physical crash testing within battery electric vehicle development.

The role focuses on crash and durability simulations using LS-DYNA together with ANSA/Meta. You will support the CAE crash and durability teams by maintaining and developing simulation tools and environments, and by contributing to the continued development of ANSA DM / SimManager integrations for both crash and strength simulations, in close collaboration with software suppliers.

You will evaluate and validate new software releases, act as a link between the Simulation Enablement team and engineering teams, and initiate and maintain simulation scripts in GitLab, primarily for cab simulations

Qualifications:

• You have a MSc or PhD in Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent with focus on computational mechanics.
• You are fluent in English, good or basic knowledge in Swedish is meriting

Meriting:

• Experience in LS-Dyna, ANSA, META, Simulation data management systems is required.
• Experience in Gitlab ABAQUS, FEMFAT and Python is meriting.
