Assignment description

We are looking for a Performance Tester to join an innovative and highly skilled team at a leading Nordic financial institution. In this role, you will work closely with performance testing specialists to ensure the quality, stability, and resilience of business-critical applications.

You will collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to plan and execute performance tests, analyze and communicate results, and help identify effective improvements. The role is part of a five-person team, where two members share responsibility for performance testing.

This assignment covers a maternity leave, making the ability to onboard quickly important. On-site presence is preferred to support close collaboration within the team.

Qualifications:

Required:

• You have hands-on, independent experience in performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, and Locust.
• You have strong ability to design, execute, and analyze load and stress tests across various systems.
• You have experience in performance testing of message-based flows (e.g., MQ), traditional web applications, and API-driven services.
• You have the ability to translate performance needs into clear, actionable testing approaches for teams.
• You are skilled at communicating complex findings clearly and structured, and guiding multiple stakeholders through results and recommendations.
• You are proactive and confident, able to take ownership of performance assignments.
• You can independently manage end-to-end performance testing activities.
• You help teams identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• You contribute insights to refine and enhance the performance testing strategy.

• Swedish language skills

You are communicative and approachable, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and guide stakeholders through performance testing concepts and options. You value collaboration, adapt quickly to new contexts, and have a strong willingness to learn. Personality, curiosity, and flexibility are considered more important than years of experience.
