Assignment description

We are looking for a Control System Verification Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of advanced radiation therapy and radiosurgery systems. In this role, you will work in a cross-functional agile scrum team, verifying complete control system solutions that span software, hardware, electronics and operating systems within a SAFe-based development environment.

You will be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and test planning to execution, reporting and continuous improvement. The work takes place in a highly regulated MedTech context where quality, safety and traceability are essential.

Your responsibilities include designing, implementing and executing verification and test cases, with a strong focus on Python-based test automation. You will maintain and evolve the test automation framework, write and review test plans and verification documentation, participate in risk analyses and design reviews, and track defects through to resolution. You will also contribute to improving test processes, tools and methods, working closely with engineers across software, hardware, electronics and systems disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar)
  • You have experience in verification, test or validation of complex technical systems
  • You have strong Python programming skills, preferably for test automation
  • You have experience working with requirements, test plans and structured verification processes
  • You have an understanding of safety-critical or regulated systems
  • You have experience working in agile development environments (Scrum / SAFe)
  • You are fluent English, written and spoken

Meriting:

  • Experience from medical devices, automotive, aerospace or other regulated industries
  • Experience with control systems, embedded systems or real-time systems
  • Knowledge of risk management and quality standards (e.g. ISO, IEC, CE)
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated test frameworks or hardware-in-the-loop testing
