Assignment description

We are looking for a DataOps Specialist for an assignment where a large organization is modernizing its data platform to establish a future-proof and sustainable foundation. The current on-premise data lake, built on Cloudera-supported Apache technologies such as Spark, NiFi, and Airflow, needs to be upgraded to meet new regulatory and compliance requirements.

The assignment involves supporting the migration to a modern, cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The target architecture will leverage containerization, managed services such as Dataproc, and infrastructure-as-code practices. As a consultant, you will be part of the delivery team and contribute hands-on to the migration and modernization efforts. The role is key to building a scalable, sustainable, and compliant data platform for the future.

On-Premise Stack Experience:

• CI/CD pipelines
• Apache Airflow

Cloud & Modern Stack Experience:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Dataproc
• Observability and monitoring tools
• YAML, Linux, Windows
• GCP Event Hubs, Elasticsearch, Kibana
• Command-line interface (CLI) proficiency

To succeed in this role, you are flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. You have strong communication skills in English, and Swedish is considered a plus. You are also delivery-oriented, with a clear focus on execution and achieving results.
