Assignment description
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join a design team focused on product improvements and changes for engines in production. The role primarily involves work after production start (SOP), with a strong focus on quality improvements, cost reduction, and resolving production-related issues.
You will be responsible for driving design assignments from pre-study through development and implementation. You will independently manage Product Change Requests (PCR), ensuring progress and follow-up until completion, and contribute to solving field quality and production-related challenges.
You will act as a key design resource, supporting both field quality cases and production teams, as well as contributing to technical investigations and improvement initiatives. The role also includes responsibility for introduced product changes, including their impact on production quality and warranty costs.
In addition, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, ensure proper decision-making processes, and contribute to continuous improvement aligned with strategic goals.
Qualifications:
- Design Experience 10+ years
- Tools/SW: 3D Experience / OAS / Catia v5
- Chassis/Engine/electrical design
- Drawing reviewer
- Autonomous
- Organized
- Fluent in English
