Assignment Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer for a hybrid role that requires on-site presence three days per week. In this position, you will be responsible for engineering efforts as well as shaping solution architecture within the learning and data domain. The work involves ensuring that solutions are designed to support modularity, scalability, integration, performance, and resilience. You will also contribute to promoting strong engineering practices across teams, assessing current ways of working, and suggesting improvements where relevant. Part of the role includes evaluating and introducing technologies that can enhance and optimize existing systems. Close collaboration with product leadership is expected, particularly in areas such as DevOps automation, API design, and enabling decoupled and reusable solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Node.js, Python, Databricks, SPARQL, and API development
  • A minimum of three years of experience in software development
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes, infrastructure as code, and monitoring practices
  • Experience using Git-based version control
  • At least two years of experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
  • Proven ability to produce and maintain high-quality code in accordance with established best practices
  • At least two years of experience within software architecture

It is considered an advantage if you have experience working with learning or knowledge-based systems.

Language requirement: English or Swedish

Location requirement: On-site in Malmö at least three days per week
