Assignment Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer. In this position, you will contribute to both the development and ongoing support of mechanical design across a range of products.

The work involves hands-on engagement with product development, refinement of existing designs, and resolution of technical challenges, with a focus on meeting requirements related to performance, durability, and regulatory compliance. You will be part of a hardware-focused R&D team and collaborate closely with stakeholders in research and development, production, and product management. The role includes responsibility for advancing mechanical design work within development projects, performing root cause analysis on deviations and issues, reviewing and improving existing technologies, and exploring new technical solutions. You will also support new product introduction activities, including early builds and troubleshooting, as well as conduct and plan testing activities such as validation of mechanical components and compliance testing.

The role requires a proactive and structured approach, the ability to handle complex technical matters, and clear communication to support well-founded engineering decisions, both independently and in cross-functional settings.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Several years of experience working with mechanical design in embedded systems
• Proficiency in English

It is considered an advantage if you have experience working with SolidWorks and Jira, and knowledge of Swedish as well as holding a Category B driving license are also considered beneficial. Experience in one or more of the following areas is likewise considered an advantage, including injection molding, chemical regulations, LVD, functional safety, sustainability, electronics, or mechanical testing such as IP classification and drop testing.
