Assignment description
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work with development and optimization of assembly processes in a production environment. The role focuses on improving assembly flows, including sequencing, line balancing, takt time, and production methods.
You will support the implementation of product changes in assembly, including updates to work instructions, tools, and routing. The role also involves handling investments from early study phases through installation and commissioning, as well as troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
A key part of the work is to drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing engineering and in collaboration with other functions, as well as contributing to the development of internal methods and processes.
Qualifications:
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in assembly processes
- You have bachelor’s/Master’s degree within Manufacturing, Engineering, and/or production
- You have work experience related to manufacturing engineering roles
- You are fluent in both Swedish and English
- You have experience in assembly line balancing, including time setting (MTM-SAM)
- You have production and flow simulation skills
- You have knowledge of leak testing
- You have experience with industrial painting processes
- You have knowledge of Robot Studio
- You have experience in factory layout work using AutoCAD
