You also support onboarding, role changes, and offboarding, maintain local IT infrastructure, and act as a connection between users, central IT teams, and external CAD specialists. When needed, you contribute to local IT initiatives such as office relocations, infrastructure upgrades, hardware renewals, and rollout activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Guide users in the correct use of hardware, software, IT services, and support procedures.
  • Complete local service requests covering hardware replacement, software deployment, and peripheral setup according to agreed response levels.
  • Provide direct support for office-based infrastructure, including network hardware, meeting room systems, printers, plotters, and cabling.
  • Deliver advanced on-site support for escalated IT issues requiring second- or third-line resolution.
  • Assist with onboarding, internal role changes, and offboarding by preparing equipment, coordinating access, and handling returns.
  • Carry out approved updates, patching, maintenance, and issue resolution for CAD-related business applications.
  • Work with central IT functions and external CAD specialists when escalation or additional expertise is required.
  • Confirm workstation performance and operational stability following technical modifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems affecting CAD software, engineering workstations, laptops, graphics components, plotters, peripherals, and other specialized equipment.
  • Maintain accurate incident records and ensure updates are logged within the IT service management platform.
  • Contribute to local IT initiatives such as relocations, network improvements, and rollout activities managed by central IT.
  • Encourage effective IT practices and self-service usage to help minimize repeat incidents.
