Assignment description
We are looking for a Technical Information Specialist for an assignment focused on creating and developing service documentation for workshop personnel within the automotive industry. In this role, you will produce clear and accurate repair method descriptions related to electric vehicle components, batteries, electric motors, and transmission systems.
You will work closely with technical writers, illustrators, and method engineers across several cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality documentation with the right technical level and clarity. The role involves transforming technical information into structured and user-friendly instructions for workshop environments.
Qualifications:
- Background in technical communication or similar roles, with hands-on experience in producing technical instructions
- Fluency in English and since all documentation is produced in Swedish, fluency in technical Swedish—both written and spoken—is an essential requirement
- Ability to understand technical terms and basic technical aspects.
- Ability to work towards the appropriate level of description and quality for the customer.
- Strong focus on the end customer’s needs and ability to translate these into effective instructions and supporting visuals.
- Experience working with technical documentation, ideally within an industrial, electrical vehicles or electrical systems environment.
Preferred / Meriting:
- Experience working with structured authoring and documentation management systems (e.g. Arbortext or similar tools) Shape
