Assignment Description

We are looking for Software Engineering Consultants to work with the development and maintenance of FM, DAB, HD, and SiriusXM tuner applications across infotainment platforms. The assignment includes both maintenance of existing platforms and products, as well as new feature development.

The role requires technical expertise, a collaborative and quality-focused approach, and active contribution to team deliveries. You are expected to take ownership of your work, support high-quality software development, contribute constructively to code reviews, adapt to different Agile ways of working, and keep learning new skills, languages, and toolsets, including best practices related to agentic AI. You should also be driven, adaptable, and willing to take initiative in problem-solving and process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong English language skills combined with excellent communication ability.
• Hands-on experience from automotive test activities, including testing in vehicles, collecting logs, and analysing log data.
• Interest in developing new skills, programming languages, and toolsets, including best practices for agentic AI.
• Relevant technical education and professional background.
• Background in Android application development, particularly within Android Automotive OS, with practical use of Java, Kotlin, and AIDL-based interfaces.
• Openness to different Agile processes and ability to support the team in adjusting its ways of working.
• Familiarity with, or experience of, media application lifecycles, RROs, and UI/UX development both with and without Jetpack Compose.
• Ability to participate in constructive code review processes, both by providing and receiving feedback.
• Understanding of current coding practices, CI workflows, and coding guardrails.
• Ability to contribute as part of a team, take responsibility for team deliveries, and work proactively toward high-quality software.
• Solid capability in creating and maintaining unit tests, component tests, and integration tests, including working knowledge of Python and test frameworks such as pytest.

It is considered meritorious if you have Swedish language skills and previous professional experience in automotive software development.
