Assignment description

We are looking for a Platform Architect with strong expertise in Databricks and Azure platform architecture. The role requires the ability to work both strategically with platform design and operationally with hands-on implementation of modern data platform solutions.

Qualifications

• You have strong expertise in Azure Databricks platform engineering and Azure architecture, with the ability to work across both strategic design and hands-on implementation.
• You have deep experience with enterprise Databricks architecture, including workspace design, cluster governance, and operational workflows using Jobs/Workflows.
• You have strong knowledge of Unity Catalog, including governance models, permissions, external locations, lineage, and auditability.
• You have solid expertise in Azure security and identity management, including Entra ID, RBAC/ABAC models, managed identities, service principals, and Key Vault integration.
• You have strong experience with Azure networking, including VNet injection, Private Link, private endpoints, and secure connectivity patterns for data platforms.
• You have experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD using Terraform/Bicep together with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, aligned with Microsoft Well-Architected principles. Experience with relevant Databricks platform architecture accreditations is considered an advantage

Nice to have

• You have a Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Professional certification.
