Assignment description
We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer for an assignment within the automotive industry focused on safety-critical, real-time transmission management systems supporting both ICE and BEV products.
In this role, you will be involved throughout the full development lifecycle, from concept and requirements to implementation, testing and verification, contributing to the development of innovative and high-quality technical solutions.
The assignment includes development and maintenance of control strategies and functions for transmission management systems, as well as implementation of gear shifting functions for both ICE and BEV applications. You will work with requirements writing, implementation, testing, verification and documentation as part of the development process.
Software development is primarily carried out in C, with additional work in Matlab/Simulink. The role also includes performing testing through unit tests, SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and vehicle-level testing, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and safe solutions.
Qualifications:
- You have a Master’s degree in relevant field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
- You have transmission management software development experience
- You have strong experience in C
- You have experience with Matlab/Simulink
Meriting:
- Experience with Python
- Experience in embedded software development, control systems, or vehicle development
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet)
- Experience with testing methodologies (unit testing, integration, SIL, vehicle testing)
- Experience working with functional safety (ISO 26262)
