Assignment Description
We are looking for a Principal Enterprise Architect. The role covers architectural leadership across a major transformation, from pre-sales refinement through delivery, adoption, and long-term platform evolution. You will advise senior business and technology stakeholders, build confidence in architectural decisions, lead governance, guide design choices, and coordinate work across delivery teams, experts, partners, vendors, licensing teams, and services sales teams.
You will connect business goals with technical execution by shaping target architectures, transition approaches, phased implementation plans, and decommissioning strategies where relevant. This includes turning pre-sales roadmaps into structured transition plans with clear sequencing, decision points, and risk controls, while developing industry-relevant architectural viewpoints, reference models, and delivery plans.
The role also includes applying change and adoption methods such as ADKAR, feeding lessons learned and build patterns into future sales and delivery, and communicating architectural reasoning clearly to executive and business stakeholders. A collaborative leadership approach focused on outcomes, value creation, adoption, and build integrity is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Danish, with the ability to communicate effectively in professional contexts.
- Good overall insight into ecosystems for digital marketing, data, and activation.
- Experience serving as a senior-level architectural advisor to executive stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of AI, automation, and emerging agentic models, including what these mean for enterprise platform environments.
- Documented experience of taking architectural lead responsibility in extensive enterprise transformation programmes, including the phases from initial direction-setting and pre-sales to implementation, adoption, and further platform development.
- Ability to work with structured methods for change and adoption, including ADKAR, to address the organisational and people-related dimensions of architectural change.
- Solid understanding of TOGAF and architecture governance across the full lifecycle, with experience applying these principles in complex enterprise contexts.
- Experience working with delivery teams, partners, and vendors to ensure that implementation remains aligned with the intended architecture.
It is considered advantageous if you have knowledge of a European language in addition to English and Danish.
