Assignment Description

We are seeking a Senior M365 Architect Consultant. The consultant will support operational activities when required, including support tickets and daily platform-related tasks. The role requires the ability to move between strategic and hands-on work, communicate technical topics in a way that business stakeholders can act on, and contribute to the team’s standards, initiatives, and processes in a professional manner.

A central part of the assignment is to shape, implement, and refine Microsoft 365 solutions so that business requirements are supported by the right technical approach. Security and governance are key considerations throughout the work. The consultant will work within an area focused on storage and collaboration and will work with Microsoft 365 and adjacent platform services, with responsibility for solution architecture, administration, and scalability. The work includes mapping the existing environment, documenting how it is currently set up, and contributing to improvements in governance, security, adoption, automation, operations, and collaboration-related activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to facilitate workshops involving both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Background in supporting adoption and readiness activities for key Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Practical experience with PnP PowerShell, Power Automate, and related automation tools.
  • Ability to assess and document current technical setups and outline target-state architectures.
  • Solid consultancy background from different organizations, clients, or environments.
  • Ability to apply and maintain Microsoft 365 security best practices, including the Defender suite, Purview, and Information Protection.
  • Ability to identify, design, and implement automation opportunities across Microsoft 365.
  • Strong background in user management, retention, data security, backup and retention, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Background in Microsoft 365 architecture covering SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, DevOps, Azure File Share and Data Archive, Copilot, and Purview.
  • Ability to guide users toward appropriate Microsoft 365 solutions based on business requirements.
  • Ability to establish, describe, and put into practice a complete Microsoft 365 governance model.
  • Ability to plan and carry out tenant-to-tenant migrations with minimal disruption and high data integrity.
  • Senior, self-driven, and service-oriented consultant profile.
  • Ability to take ownership of both strategic and operational work.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and actionably to business stakeholders.
  • Ability to build trust with stakeholders and partners.
  • Ability to represent team standards, initiatives, and processes in a professional manner.
  • Consultancy background across multiple organizations, clients, or environments, in line with the preferred profile for this assignment.

It is considered meritorious if you have experience with Change Management and ITIL principles, as well as experience with Incident and Problem Management, ServiceNow, and DevOps practices. It is also considered meritorious if you have experience producing high-quality technical documentation, including SOPs, User Guides, and Product Requirements Documents.
