Assignment description
In this role you will be a part of Battery and EPS System Engineering team within our client’s Propulsion department, which is a team with the mission to deliver results which exceed the customers’ expectations. The team consists of System engineers, Lead Engineers and Traction voltage experts.
Main tasks:
- Lead and take part in the electrical/mechanical design activities from concept to industrialization and deliver technical solutions
- Establish DV and PV plan, with supplier
- Communicate externally with Supplier, internally with various disciplines, along with Logistics, Manufacturing, and aftermarket
- Be responsible for the component delivery time plan, change management, reporting to Propulsion project team
- Be responsible for corresponding SFMEA review
- Be responsible for product release
- Work with SQM to ensure proper quality standard of the BDU product
Competence requirements:
- M.sc or B.sc in Mechatronics or equivalent university degree
- 5 years of experience in component development and supplier management
- Experience in dimensioning of electrical components such as Busbars, Contactors and Fuses
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Swedish is a plus
- Experience in automotive High Voltage electrical systems and power distribution
- Experience in HV standards (China Battery GB standards, UNEC R100 and IEC-, SAE-,
ISO- battery standards) - Basic knowledge in safety aspects of Battery design
