Assignment description

We are looking for an Engineer for an assignment within R&D and analytical technology.

The assignment is part of a department responsible for the development of new products used in the manufacturing of leading biological drugs. The role belongs to an analytical technology section that supports different departments with expertise and technologies related to the analysis of resins, intermediates and other substances used in the manufacturing of chromatography resins.

You will be part of project teams for new product development as well as product and process care projects. The role includes performing analyses using chromatography and other analytical techniques, developing and optimizing new analytical methods within the scope of the projects, and carrying out method validation.

You will also perform assignment analyses from production and quality control departments. Cross-functional collaboration is an important part of the role, including close cooperation with quality control and manufacturing units in troubleshooting and method development.

Qualifications:

• PhD with a minimum of a couple of years’ experience, or MSc with several years´ working experience within analytical chemistry with focus on quantitative chromatography (LC and/or GC), and mass spectrometry.
• English as a working language.

Meriting:

• Experience from research and project work in an industry setting, statistical knowledge and experience with analytical method development. Excellent computer skills and ability, Swedish as a working language.
