Assignment Description
We are seeking a Test Manager to take responsibility for creating a structured and coordinated approach to testing within a digital development initiative spanning multiple teams and systems. The assignment covers the overall testing approach, planning, follow-up and reporting.
You will establish the test strategy and supporting plans, coordinate activities across the teams and systems involved, and make sure that required test data and environments are available for testing. You will follow progress, communicate status to relevant stakeholders and address testing-related issues proactively, escalating them when necessary. The designated project lead will be the main contact for day-to-day reporting and will also support the onboarding process and provide guidance during the assignment.
The role requires close collaboration with the designated project lead when preparing reporting intended for an executive audience, as well as ongoing cooperation with relevant stakeholders across product, business and technical functions. The organization is primarily structured around tribes and operates with a lightweight project governance model. When required, you will also support or perform cross-functional testing.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience from the insurance sector and/or financial services.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Demonstrated experience managing testing activities in environments with complex system integrations.
- Strong experience applying Agile ways of working, including within an organizational setup based on the Spotify model.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
