Assignment description

As a ServiceNow architect, you ensure that reference architectures are followed in the new and modified solutions implemented in the business. This is done in close collaboration with the domain architect and other IT architects within the domain. You work on solution architecture and development leadership in projects, as well as IT architecture governance/coordination across all business areas.

Your work tasks:

  • Provide domain, architecture, and technical aspects of your projects to the client
  • Provide strategic recommendations around technical best practices and industry trends to clients
  • Analyze and estimate the time required to design, develop and implement the technical solutions
  • Participate in requirement gathering meetings and provide inputs to the developers based on the requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholder and members of the team
  • Know end-to-end ServiceNow ITSM solutions in ServiceNow
  • Share input and/or generate specialist point of view with Business Analysts
  • Interface with clients together with Product Owner
  • Active member of the ServiceNow team with own tasks and responsibilities
  • Guide junior members of the team when required
  • Develop system documentation, including process flows, design documents, etc.
  • Define the architecture of ServiceNow implementations and oversee their successful deployment
  • Host architectural design forums to review technical solutions and approve them
  • Develop Visio diagrams and high-level architecture documents
  • Manage upgrade cycles together with the Product Owner
  • Keep check of instance performance and purpose improvement to improve end-user experience
  • Responsible for the technical roadmap, the steps to take to achieve best practice and to use the capabilities that exist today and tomorrow in the platform
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement and regarding technical design and user story break down

Requirements:

  • Understand the SAFe framework, principles and flows
  • Understand ServiceNow best practices
  • Ability to lead change, have the will and courage to work towards change
  • Understand the value of continuous learning
  • Be able to inspire, explain in an educational way, communicate with all different type of stakeholders from C-level executives to Service Operators
  • Develop the right solution from a holistic point of view and aligned with corporate vision and strategies, to support the customer’s needs
  • Fluent in business English and Swedish, both oral and written
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM), or equivalent implementation specialist certification
  • Understand that you are a role model for junior colleagues, and act as such
