Assignment description 

As a Solution Architect you will drive technical decisions in the Aftermarket, emphasizing simplicity and overcoming limitations to build robust, scalable solutions. You will collaborate with teams and the Domain Architect to design, align with business goals, and adhere to enterprise policies. Additionally, you will aid the team, clear technical hurdles, and reduce technical debt while fostering best practices, innovation, and architecture community collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

• Design the technology framework for the Digital Aftermarket area with input from teams and the Domain Architect
• Ensure solutions follow enterprise policies
• Guide teams on technology strategies like DevOps
• Make sure solutions are scalable and global
• Coach the development team, perform code reviews, and remove technical obstacles
• Collaborate with Digital and Technical Leads to align the roadmap with technical strengths and opportunities
• Address technical debt and improve the Digital product
• Provide policies and guidelines for software engineering practices
• Continuously seek better solutions and challenge the status quo
• Create a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices
• Share responsibility for building reusable and scalable components
• Support the wider architecture community on cross-cutting topics

Competence requirements:

• Automotive experience required, Aftermarket knowledge is a plus
• Seasoned technical leader with knowledge of the latest technology trends
• Extensive experience with Agile infrastructure, environments and DevOps
• Able to make architecture decisions at different levels
• Experience in projects involving multiple organizations and business units
• Proficiency in design thinking
• Knowledge of AWS technology stack and microservices
• Experience managing technical priorities
• Strong communication skills for aligning the organization on complex technical decisions
