Assignment description
We are looking for an experienced Business Architect – Shopfloor IT to support an ongoing transformation of a global production system.
The assignment focuses on developing efficient, transparent and data-driven ways of working, supported by modern IT solutions that connect people, processes and equipment and enable real-time decision-making.
As Business Architect, you will take a global and strategic perspective and ensure that business needs are translated into sustainable processes, information flows and IT solutions. You will play an important role in creating alignment, setting direction and driving change from early analysis and target-state definition through to implementation.
The role requires a strong end-to-end perspective and the ability to connect different business areas, initiatives and stakeholder perspectives. You will balance short-term business needs with long-term architecture and strategic development within Shopfloor IT and Production Execution.
You will work closely with the business, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Process Owners and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives, IT initiatives and the target architecture.

- Contribute to and provide direction for the portfolio of initiatives within the assigned area.
- Drive analyses, discovery activities, gap analyses, and pre-studies.
- Develop clear visualizations and decision-support material that enable shared understanding and informed decisions.
- Facilitate discussions and decision-making across business and IT stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous development of common ways of working within the team.
Qualifications

- You have strong stakeholder management skills and experience building relationships across different functions and organizational levels.
- You are comfortable facilitating discussions, workshops and decision-making processes.
- You can create structure and direction in complex or ambiguous situations.
- You can prioritize and manage changing requirements while maintaining focus on quality and sustainable solutions.
- You can work strategically while remaining close to the operational business.
- You are comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively across teams and functions.
Meriting experience
- You have previous experience within Business Architecture.
- You have experience with business process modelling and/or information modelling.
- You have experience from Shopfloor IT, Production Execution, manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
- You have previous experience from a large industrial or production-oriented organization, including knowledge of production environments, organizational structures and ways of working.

- You have strong business understanding and the ability to work effectively at the intersection between business and IT.
You are an ambitious, driven and curious professional who enjoys working in an environment where several activities and initiatives progress in parallel. You take ownership, set clear goals and maintain a strong focus on quality and results.
You have a strong business perspective and a genuine interest in understanding how and why processes work as they do.
