Assignment description

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Business Controller to support a global R&D organization within powertrain development.

In this role, you will work closely with the business to strengthen financial steering, planning and decision-making. You will support and drive key financial processes, contribute to strategic discussions and help ensure that financial targets are met.

The R&D organization is undergoing significant changes in ways of working, systems and roles, and Controlling is evolving alongside it. As part of a global environment, you will act as a trusted business partner and contribute to the development and implementation of future financial management models, processes and tools.

You will join a diverse team of Business Controllers supporting the development organization and work within a broad network across R&D Controlling and other finance functions. The role offers close collaboration with both operational and strategic stakeholders in an international setting.

Qualifications:

• You have a Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in Business Controlling or a similar finance controlling role.
• You have solid experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting.
• You have experience supporting and partnering with management teams.
• You have experience with financial closing processes, KPI follow-up and performance management.
• You have experience influencing cost development and supporting strategic business decisions.
• You have experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Experience from an international and global business environment is highly desirable.

• You have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• You have strong knowledge of Power BI.
• You have strong systems knowledge and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with SAP is considered a strong advantage.
