Assignment description

On this assignment you will be working with creating, developing and maintaining the diagnostic content in our client’s diagnostic tool, which is still in it’s infancy and under development. As the off-board diagnostic engineer you will be responsible for all diagnostic information in the diagnostic tool which is used for fault-tracing by mechanics and technicians in workshops. Tasks includes writing text as well as using and interpreting diagnostic commands and also includes some basic coding in JavaScript. If you don’t know how to write JavaScript, don’t worry, we’ll teach you.

To thrive in this role we think you’ll need a good understanding of how vehicles work and a passion for learning more. Information collection is a big part of the work and much of the information must be found by yourself. This requires an investigative mindset.

For this specific request we will look a bit extra at applicants with experience of diagnosis of electrical vehicles. As for your personal attributs we are looking for a person with ability to pivot in daily tasks and strategic direction, is a team player, have the ability to listen and participate in brain storming, as well as having problem solving abilities.

Your key deliverables will be quotation (including break down of all costs, including travel costs), project group and detailed time plan including connection / reference to deliverables and material rights and IP rights.

Work tasks:

  • Follow up the incoming, processed, outgoing and returning vehicle flows, and parts for PDI
  • Develop and manage flows of vehicles out of the yard
  • Manage suppliers through developing KPIs and driving performance using quality and lead time analysis
  • Securing a constant and stable pipeline flow throughout dedicated markets in Europe
  • Maintain correct stock levels at Local Car Compounds focusing on reducing ageing stock
  • Manage Local Car Compound stock maintenance
  • Managing stakeholder communication for on time deliveries to customers focusing on end-to-end order to delivery

Requirements:

  • Passion for logistics
  • Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
  • Experience in TMS applications and requirement settings is a merit
  • Yard and PDI, PDS, PPO operation is a merit
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft applications – Power BI, Excel etc.
  • Excellent communication skills – Fluent in English – both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to use and give feedback to facilitate open dialogue and successfully manage difficult conversations
  • Experience in multi-modal finished vehicle transportation operations
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Basic knowledge within ISO-14229
  • A general understanding of how a vehicle works and is fault-traced
  • Eager to learn with a can-do attitude
