Assignment description

This position will be part of our client’s Global Investments within the Indirect Procurement Department that together with their stakeholders, drives different sourcings projects from start to end.

We are looking for an experienced procurement specialist. Ultimately, it’s all about cooperating with people inside and outside the company to create a superior experience for the people who buy their product as well as their internal organization.

Your key tasks:

• Lead and support cross-functional sourcing projects within the category including preparation, execution, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection and contract management
• Develop and implement category and supplier strategies
• Create and maintain commercial relations with suppliers and stakeholders
• Work proactively with key business stakeholders to understand your product/service, its market, supply base and potential innovation to find ways to increase value for the company – including cost, quality, and sustainability
• Perform market analysis, prioritization, and identification of optimal negotiation tactics
• Dare to question status quo or decided routes with stakeholders, suppliers, people; and work proactively to build better understanding and work towards common solutions
• There will be some need for global business travels

Required qualifications:

• 4-6 yrs of indirect buyer experience
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Education at university level or equivalent experience
• Business and commercial mindset
• Current experience from IDP investments current processes and tools
• Experience with handling machinery sourcings
