Assignment description
As a Testing Technology Engineer, you will join a team of 6-8 Testing Technology Engineers within the client’s larger group of approximately 18 professionals. Your primary responsibilities will include providing support to their internal R&D organization and assisting their customers and colleagues with a wide range of metrology and testing tools, with a specific focus on network communication solutions.
Your daily tasks will encompass supporting fault tracing, functionality, and method development related to their tools and measurement solutions, covering both software and hardware issues. You will work strategically to anticipate future requirements and operationally to maintain existing solutions in cars, rigs, and field tests. Close collaboration with test engineers from across R&D is a key aspect of your role. You will closely engage with departments such as Electric Powertrain, Active Safety, Chassis, and Electrics/Electronics to find suitable measurement solutions for their specific needs.
Tools and protocols:
- Work with INCA, Vector, Dewesoft, and communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, LIN, and Flexray
Your qualifications:
- B.Sc. or higher in Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, or similar
- Leadership and technical support experience
- Proficiency in network communication tools and techniques
- General automotive knowledge and a passion for technology and problem-solving
- Experience with agile work methods
- Driver’s license (B) is a plus
