Assignment description

In this assignment you will be part of a new team, set up to build a brand-new mobile app for the travel business of our client. The app is a mission critical company roadmap deliverable for 2023. The app will enable their customers to digitally self-serve in an intuitive way to make travel with the client easy. It will be part of the broader digital company landscape and be built upon multiple system integrations.

We are looking for driven team players with a get-up-and-go attitude, strong technical skills, as well as an understanding of UX and app commerce.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a mobile app using React Native (Android and iOS)
• Use Adobe Mobile SDK’s for Analytics, Push Notifications, and other functionality
• Make use of Redux and other libraries to handle asynchronous data and improve the performance of the application
• Take technical ownership of features and advance product functionality
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• Proactively seek out and ensure that performance and security issues are resolved
• Write (always) unit tests for your code
• Ensure technical documentation is updated continuously
• Advocate and improve on code quality, automated tests, CI/CD initiatives, and optimize developer tooling
• Willing to learn new skills and collaborate cross-functionally

Requirements:

• Either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field OR an equivalent level of knowledge gained through relevant work experience
• Preferably based in Europe and willing to travel to Amsterdam/Gothenburg
• Fluent English verbal and written communication skills
• At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack mobile engineer with expertise in react-native app development
• Strong TypeScript knowledge
• Strong knowledge of iOS and Android deployment methods through the official stores
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of CI/CD (preferably in Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices-based architecture pattern
• Experience writing unit, functional, and integration tests
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform would be a big plus
