Assignment description

We are looking for a consultant for a growing company within autonomous driving in Gothenburg. The assignment is within fusion and tracking divisions that have the critical role of providing real-time, consolidated data on nearby objects. The work includes collaborating closely with other teams to advance Autonomous Driving (AD) and the next generation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Primary focus is on creating resilient object tracking capabilities to empower AD and ADAS.

In the realm of Object Tracking, the team operates in a tightly-knit fashion. Everyone actively participates in all development tasks, with early reviews and the exchange of innovative ideas forming the cornerstone of their development process. Expect to encounter a diverse array of intricate challenges on a daily basis, offering ample opportunities for continuous learning and personal growth.

Mission and day-to-day tasks:

• Design and improve object tracking algorithms based on analysis of real world data
• Write safety-critical product code in C++ using a modern development environment
• Ensure the quality and safety of your delivery to customers
• Developing tools and evaluation scripts in Python

Requirements:

• A drive for solving real world problems within sensor fusion and object tracking
• A critical mindset and interest in analysis
• Industrial experience within modern C++ SW development
• Knowledge in Kalman filter and radar/lidar tracking
• You embrace close collaboration on development tasks and enjoy e.g. doing code reviews and pair programming
• Experience in real-time embedded systems
