Assignment description

We are now searching for an Analysis Engineer at Attribute Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). The EMC teams are responsible for the Attribute Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) in complete cars. The company works with design guidelines, requirements, analysis, simulations and tests to ensure that system integration into complete vehicle is successful. The EMC section is a part of Software & Electronics Platform (SWEP) solution within the company’s Engineering division, currently divided into three teams, one component team, one release team and one service team. They are in total 18 employees today.

Working with EMC means that you establish and develop relationships with Developers within almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the designs in those areas. In this position, you will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network within Engineering. You have degrees of freedom to form your deliveries and to develop your own skills.

What you will do:

• Support almost all areas within the company on a component level with EMC expertise
• Be a part of a highly skilled team supporting component developers with establishing and approving test plans for platform components as well as for tophat unique components, reviewing test results and assisting in resolving any non-compliances
• Participating in the continuous improvement of work processes and strengthening the EMC knowledge within the teams

To fit the profile:

• University degree in electronics, physics or other relevant area or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Documented experience from EMC in Electronic design

You are more qualified for this position if you have:

• Experience of electrical hardware design – schematics and layout
• Experience of the automotive industry
• Experience of other electrical technologies
