Assignment description

As a part of our client’s Weight team, you will optimize components to reduce the material needed but also challenge technical solutions and material choices to bring down the weight of the complete vehicle.

What you’ll do:
As a Senior Analysis Engineer you will work with developing new tools and methods to help the team keep track of and collecting existing weight data with as little manual work as possible. Your focus will be to take lead for the analytical tools that is used in their daily tasks and make sure that they work as efficient as possible. You will have a central role in the continuous development of these tools together with IT-developers. Together with the IT developers it will also be part of your responsibility to keep our tools updated to match other systems at the company that provides us with data.

Responsibilities:

• All new development and updates of the tools belonging to the weight team
• Taking part in new method development for weight optimization and management

You and your skills:

• Motivated, creative, and curious person who is willing to embrace challenges and can operate in a frequently changing environment
• Self-driven and able to take initiatives on your own
• See the overall picture and logical patterns is one of your skills but you also find an interest in digging into the details
• To have experience from developing IT tools is a requirement
• Proficient in programming using Visual Basic, Java, C++ or similar and to have prior work experience with data analysis is considered beneficial
• Experience from Teamcenter is meritorious and to have experience from working with CAD models and developing SharePoint sites is a requirement
• Experience from using data visualisation tools like Tableau or PowerBI
• A university degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience and your English is fluent (written and spoken)
• To be a member of a team is your preferred way of working and you don’t hesitate to step in and help your colleagues in their tasks.
