Assignment description

As a SAP Solution Architect you will be responsible for establishment and maintenance of future SAP ERP – Data Model & Data Governance. You will work with safeguard practices on Data Ownership and Data Quality over time. Also safeguard planning and execution of Data Cleansing and Data Migration activities during implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Master Data specialist & Migration experts, including reporting according to agreed governance structure
• Define future SAP ERP – Data Model and Data Governance setup
• Define SAP ERP Data Model through collaboration with Key Interfaces
• Define Data Object Ownership (within and across divisions)
• Define per Master Data Object which system to be used as “master”  (ERP System, Master Data System), and replication logic
• Define future practices to ensure Data Quality over time
• Cooperate w/ Process Leads & Data Owners for regulatory compliance
• Update Data Model throughout Transformation Roadmap Journey
• Engage with stakeholders and system owners across impacted application landscape and data domains
• Define Data Cleansing & Migration approach and Planning during implementation
• Responsible of the Master Data Management object configuration

• Ensure that practices are in place for Data Ownership and Data Quality
• Model to enable business processes across application landscape
• Model to enable information exchange with external business partners
• Model definition to be aligned with SAP ERP best practices
• Model definition should enable application landscape upgradeability
• Ensure successful Data Cleansing & Migration during implementation
• Responsible of the Master Data Management object configuration

Profile:

• Leadership skills, previous experience on managing teams
• Data Management and strategy expert with earlier experience of large-scale transformations
• Data model and data governance experience
• ERP experience and data migration experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to drive stakeholder management dialogue with System Owners across impacted application landscape and data domains
• Ability to interact with governance forums to anchor new data model, and when required initiate change management efforts
• 10+ years of deep SAP knowledge, ERP & S/4 + SAP MDG
• Deep knowledge of SAP core Master Data Objects, Customer, Vendor & Material
