Our client is looking for an experienced Hardware Electrical Engineer. Their infotainment development consist of a numerous agile teams focusing on development to create a word leading in-car digital experience. They are proudly working with cutting edge technology such as Android Auto with their partner Google. They has received widespread awards from the international press when showing this system throughout the world right now. To support their exciting future, they are looking for a Hardware Developer to strengthen their team.
They want to build empowered teams that act proactively, that take responsibility for their deliveries and always strive to build a great product for the end customer.
You will be part of their Hardware Development team. You will work in a creative environment, that is constantly implementing new functionality, where they focus on both developing the product but also the individuals. The team that you will work with are responsible for the area of hardware development of our infotainment head units and surrounding interface components.
Your team is managing the development at the suppliers to ensure our requirements, time plans are met also considering cost efficiency.
Requirements:
As a Hardware Developer in their team, you will continuously work with securing the deliveries for their clients production and aftermarket. A key responsibility is to compile the technical requirements from the various Stakeholders and make sure that the supplier has accepted the scope for the development. During the development you review the tests and validations results together with the supplier. They document the hardware in systems like KDP, Team Center, Car Weaver, and secure steps in the quality process. You will have a close collaboration with the Product Owner, Engineering Manager and many other people working both internal company and suppliers with interface to your team.
To succeed in this role, it is a clear advantage to have project experience from the automotive industry. Technical project leadership, cross functional planning ability and basic understanding of electronic infotainment hardware development and software system design.
Skills:
- Bachelor or Master Science degree in Electronics, Computer science, Automation, Mechanics or equivalent with relevant experience
- Worked with managing or owning electronic hardware components for release to production or similar is meritorious, also from the non-electrical domain (like interior, chassis, powertrain)
- Work collaborative, and transparent communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting
- It is also important that you are curious and want to continuously develop your own skills
- Having an interest in their products and components, and a drive to learn and develop are very important qualifications
- You like structure and have things organized and well planned
- Fluency in English is mandatory
