Our client are currently looking for their next Software Developer Longitudinal Vehicle Control to their System Control team. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change they know is needed.
Job description:
The System Controls team is part of the Customer SW department and is a team with the mission to develop and deliver in-vehicle characteristics that exceed the customers’ expectations. The team consists of software development engineers, calibration engineers, and system designers. The area of responsibility spans from software development, system design, propulsion control calibration, and system safety. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you’ll be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and validating software for LVC, Longitudinal Vehicle Control
- Supporting testing of the complete vehicle ED system
- To build software and test and validate LVC SW and functions in test rigs and vehicles
- To be involved in the system design and dimensioning of their future electric drivelines
- Close cooperation with the whole propulsion team (Inverter, HV Battery management, and Charging, for example)
Essentially, you will be one of their experts in how to implement/calibrate software that will maximize attributes like performance, drivability, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in propulsion system development and embedded ECU programming
- Previous experience in Matlab Simulink
- Education within Electrical Engineering or other similar university degree
- The customer is an international company, with various backgrounds represented. English, therefore, is the language of written and spoken communication.
