Our client are currently looking for their next Diagnostics Development Engineer within their Thermal System Controls team. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change they know is needed.
Job description:
Their System Controls team is a part of the Customer Software department, which is a team with a mission to deliver results which exceed the customers expectations. You will be a part of a small but experienced team that handles all aspects of the thermal control system. They have complete responsibility for the software development but are also involved daily in cross functional system work together with other teams and suppliers. Your part in the team would be to engage in the entire system from a diagnostics point of view. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks.
- To take ownership of one part of the diagnostic software in the thermal system, including all aspects of software development including:
- Model based software implementation
- Testing, calibration, and verification in a vehicle
- Participate in the cross-functional system work
- Depending on your background, the role can be adapted to your skills and interest
- Support fault tracing activities based on the diagnostics you’ve implemented
Mandatory qualifications:
- Bachelor Science or Master Science degree within electrical engineering or other similar area
- Previous experience with model-based software development of vehicle thermal or climate systems
- Previous experience of software testing and calibration in a vehicle
- Previous knowledge of diagnostic development.
- Previous experience with Matlab/Simulink
- Driver’s license B
The customer is an international company, with various backgrounds represented. English, therefore, is the language of written and spoken communication.
